New Year Resolution Reality is an on line reality program filmed in Greater Lafayette with 20 contestants from our community.  The contestants are participating in a weight loss contest, based on the percentage of body weight loss.  The formula used is:

• ·         New Year’s Day Weight – Today’s Weight = Pounds Lost To Date
• ·         (Pounds Lost To Date / Beginning Weight) X 100 = Percent Weight Loss

Interviews for contestants are in process at International Sports Clubs in Lafayette.  Interviewees go through a series of interviews, a thorough health and fitness screening and a group workout comparable to the workouts completed during the contest.  The first 10 contestants will be announced on Monday November 21^st5:00PM. A second cycle of interviews will conclude with the final 10 contestants announced on New Years Eve at 5:00PM.  Contestant Applications are available on line www.newyearresolutionreality.com.   Paper applications available at International Sports Clubs Lafayette & West Lafayette or Complete Nutrition.

The contest begins with a weigh in on New Years Day!  The following 10 weeks provide 6 workouts per week led by a New Years Resolution Reality Trainer.  The Grand Prize winner will be provided with a Seven Day Tropical Vacation for two.

The objective of the contest is to provide the community with a follow along program of educational and entertaining videos that will guide them to better health.  The workouts and progress will all be video taped and posted on line at www.newyearresolutionreality.com.  In fact, videos regarding the interview process are updated daily even now!  The fitness tips and exercises provided are free and available for the greater Lafayette Community to shape up and feel better!
